"Red Balloon" is not Likk's first CD, but the first on Digital Kunstrasen. The Hamburg native describes his new work: "What is new on 'Red Balloon': Lina Paul added her angel-like voice to two of the songs, David Rolo from Brussels plays guitar and bass and helped mixing it all. I am working with both of them for a long time and I toured with Lina Paul often. The songs are tighter than those on "Squeezed" - the songs as a song is more in the foreground, even if there are still many sounds to discover. The CD was recorded within the last few months, but some songs were in my mind from long before that. I didn't design the songs for radio play, but took a more layed back approach to produce the best possible music...and I really like it!"
