Occasionally, Digital Kunstrasen is proud to present artists beyond Germany - and this time in the six and a half year lasting history of our netlabel, we publish the first release of artists from Asia. Hoodie Woody Freaky come from Malang, a megacity on the indonesian island of Java, putting out their first EP here on Digital Kunstrasen.

The three young indonesians play and sing acoustic pop, where the drums are completely displaced by beatboxing. This unusal composition hasn't made them just a part of our netlabel, but also a part of indonesian's TV-history: As participiant of the Mencari Bakat's preliminaries, the indonesian counterpart of "Pop Idol".
