With Walle/Spinner recently releasing an electronica-artist from Kiel, all the lines were running hot at Digital Kunstrasen. The most important question: When will there be an artist from Luebeck as well, the other bigger town from the highest north of Germany? The answer: Right here, right now - with Stereotaub and his "Beta EP".

The man behind Stereotaub is Mikhele Apitzsch, which becomes one of the youngest artists in the DK-universe with 1994 as year of birth. Since two years, Mikhele experiments with electronical sounds, profiting mainly of his contact with the Label Audiolith in Hamburg - a label, that's also famous for DK-near artists like Rampue. In the last six months, the "Beta EP" has been created - more of less synthetical soundscapes without any distinct categorisation in the electronica genre. Digital Kunstrasen says: Have fun with songs from our electronical budding fraction.
